Designed for applications requiring high metal removal, GammaGrind abrasive wheels include disc and narrow-face cylinder wheels capable of grinding a variety of flat parts. The wheels incorporate the company’s Alpha-Pore technology, which increases porosity for freer cutting performance in aggressive applications. Various grit sizes and grain types are available, including ceramic grains that are said to provide longevity and to reduce dressing requirements. Although the wheels perform well in soft and hard steels, cutlery and hand tools, they are not limited to these materials and applications, the company says.
