The TMX power chuck from Toolmex is designed for face clamping. Face clamping, an alternative to traditional axial clamping methods, is said to improve concentricity and minimize deformation of thin-walled parts during machining. Examples of such applications include holding aluminum automobile wheels
Along with its power chuck, the company will also exhibit its sealed pull-down chucks for high volume manufacturing applications and its Palbit and TMX indexable carbide product for finishing aluminum.
