The VMC’s 40" × 23.6" × 23.6" X-, Y- and Z-axis travels offer extra working capacity for larger die/mold requirements. It is also equipped with an oversized roller-type, linear guideway. The 40-taper IDD direct-drive spindle with full-face contact reduces spindle vibration, the company says. A spindle cooling system and oil-air mist lubrication are standard for extended spindle and machine life during high speed operations. The VMC also features a high speed, 30 tool, swing-arm- ATC.
