Parlec Solutions introduces an optional feature for the series 1850 Parsetter TMM—a quick-change spindle with power clamping for all standard toolholders. The quick-change spindle option is said to increase accuracies and repeatability while simplifying machine operation. According to the company, the spindle increases repeatability and minimizes the effects of tooling variability on the measuring process. The spindle enables power clamping for taper-style toolholders including ISO/SK/CAT/BT tapers, HSK- and Capto-style tooling.
