Master Magnetics has added a retractable retrieving magnet to its line of retrieving magnets. The retractable magnet is capable of extracting metal parts from hard-to-access tight spaces such as cramped engine compartments, behind heavy equipment, down drains or heating vents.
Sides of the magnetic tool are shielded so that it attracts only the targeted item to be retrieved. This design prevents it from being attracted to metal surroundings until activated with the plunger handle, or to other tools when stored in the toolbox. Its flexible 23" shaft can snake through difficult or confined areas and hold its shape for hard-to-reach items. The tool features a thermoplastic handle and round knob for sturdy grip and comfort. The neodymium magnet provides maximum strength in a small size.
