Heinz Berger Maschinenfabrik’s robotic systems are designed for grinding and polishing workpieces. The stations can be employed as manufacturing cells for a range of workpieces, and they also can be integrated into a complete production line as a robotic deburring station.

 
Four- to seven-axis robots can be used. To program, a robotic basic program can be adapted to user requirements by a teach position. After storing, the programs can be used again. Additional stations automatically measure each workpiece before processing to compensate for tolerance. The result is stored in the robotic program.
 
Grinding belts and polishing wheels can be used to process grinding wheels, and tool and workpiece movement can be accomplished via robots. The robotic control compensates the war of grinding belts. Different magazine systems, such as chain magazines, sliding magazines, magazine cartridges and rotary-table magazines, feed the workpieces.
