Single-flute gundrills from Star SU are designed to machine straight, deep holes in virtually any material in one pass. High-pressure coolant delivered through the tool keeps the cutting edges lubricated, enabling adequate chip evacuation down the flute channel. The gundrills are available in various lengths with diameters ranging from 0.078" to 0.750" (2 to 19 mm). Larger-diameter tools can be custom ordered.
