The GrindSmart 620XS is a six-axis CNC precision tool grinder for the manufacturing and regrinding of round and non-round cutting tools that range in diameter from 0.004" (0.1 mm) to 0.625" (16 mm). It features an automatic loading/unloading system, a precision clamping system and V-block and steady rest support.

The grinder is capable of increased uptime with high productivity for long and short batches, the company says. Operating on a Fanuc iPanel 160iMB control, the grinder’s six interpolated axes enable customized grinding of metalcutting, composite and woodworking tools; inserts; medical and dental instruments; polycrystalline CBN; and more.
