The Power Mini Shrink chucks are a series of slim-nosed, shrink-fit chucks designed with a combination of slim tips and reinforced bases, following the company’s “Power Shrink” anti-vibration shrink-fit system. The chucks are intended for use in applications where clearance is tight, such as five-axis machining in the mold manufacturing, turbine manufacturing and medical engineering sectors. Available in a variety of lengths, the chuck features a slim outer contour. The 3-degree angle of this contour provides clearance that is typical of the draft angle used in moldmaking. Likewise, the chucks are suited for precise milling work along the recess wall of such parts when using a three-axis machining center.

 

Other offerings include heavy-duty shrink-fit chucks with high clamping forces and a runout accuracy of 3 microns; a SafeLock system that integrates ball or pin drivers into the chuck; the Power series, which includes Power Shrink chucks and Power collet chucks; and the ER collet chuck torque wrench, which clamps virtually all standard ER collet chucks.
