SMW Autoblok’s SRG steady rest is designed to support shaft-type workpieces on grinding machines. Retractable arms enable rapid set-up and make the steady rest suitable for follow-down grinding, while horizontal and vertical fine adjustments of the grinding center enable high-precision grinding. Additional features include a port for compressed air, stroke control and central lubrication. Suitable for crankshaft and camshaft applications, the steady rest is available in three sizes with clamping diameters ranging from 20 to 85 mm.
