The M432VIII incorporates a third Y axis on the back tool post and a B axis with rotary tools on the gang tool post. Located on the slant axis in reference to the Y-axis direction, the B axis incorporates rotary tools and can be used to product multiple angular holes in one setup by continuously changing angles. Contouring with simultaneous four-axis control is also possible. The back tool post can accommodate holders at three positions (two for rotary tools and one for fixed tool), and as many as nine tools can be included.

 

The BNA-42MSY features two spindles, a Y-axis-equipped turret and an X2 axis on the back spindle for simultaneous machining flexibility. Powerful spindle motors and a high-torque revolving tool motor facilitates heavy cuts, the company says. The control system features Cincom Control technology to reduce idle time and ensure easy setup and flexibility.
