Available from Murata Machinery USA, the MW40 twin-spindle CNC chucker is designed to automate production of small, precision parts ranging in size to 50 × 90 mm within a compact footprint. The machine’s rigid turret design enables precise part processing, with less than 5 microns of thermal displacement. It is available with an optional, live-tool-capable Y axis with a ±25 mm stroke that enables the turret to move up and down. A separate bed minimizes the transfer of harmonic vibrations from the opposite spindle. The machine is also compatible with Muratec’s high-speed, three-axis CNC gantry loader, which easily integrates versatile automation into almost any manufacturing environment.
