SmartProfile 2.0 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) evaluation software from Kotem is designed to provide fast, accurate analysis of measured data compared to a part’s CAD model. It can be used to confirm design intent for shape, form, profile, orientation and location on virtually any rigid part. The program is said to work with point -cloud data from any measurement system, and the updated software includes the SmartViewer interactive point-cloud viewer, designed to quickly visualize measured data as a color overlay on top of a CAD model.
