The HDM690 AngLok vise provides a 9" jaw opening with 0.001" accuracy and minimal jaw deflection for effectively securing large parts. The vise features a stationary jaw with top-down bolting, a tall body design to reduce deflection, high precision roller bearings and a hardened vise screw mechanism. Its design enables clamping force to be distributed evenly across the jaw surface while the AngLock spherical segment in the moveable jaw reduces jaw lift. The pull-type body design reduces stress in the 80,000-psi iron body, resulting in more accurate clamping, the company says.
