Walter AG Appoints New President
Richard Harris has held various management positions with Sandvik, the parent company to Walter AG, since 2002.
Walter AG, parent company of the Walter USA LLC, has appointed Richard Harris its new president. He succeeds Mirko Merlo, who had been president of Walter AG since 2012.
Mr. Harris has held various management positions with Sandvik, the parent company to Walter AG, since 2002. Most recently, he led the Powder and Blanks Technology division within Sandvik Machining Solutions. While there, he advanced the strategic and operative development of supply management.
