Vapormatt’s Sabre wet-blasting system uses a nozzle formation that focuses blast guns on faces and cutting edges for consistency and controllability. Developed to meet the needs of small- to medium-volume manufacturers, coating centers and R&D facilities, the system ensures total tool coverage with edge radii within ±5 µm (0.0002") of specification tolerance and an improved surface for coating adhesion. Because it carries an option to fit both Y- and X-axis nozzle arrangements, the Sabre offers both customization opportunities and hybrid functionality. The system can process round shank tools and cutting inserts ranging from 3 mm to 30 mm (0.118" to 1.81") in diameter and 46 mm to 307 mm (1.85" to 12.08") in length. In addition, the machine can hold as many as four Wendt or three Manz trays simultaneously.
