AccuteX EDM’s three-axis EZ-53SA wire machine offers X-, Y- and Z-axis travels of 19.7" × 11.8" × 7.1", an automatic wire threader (AWT) and a Windows-based CE control. The specific machine at IMTS will have the optional fourth-axis indexing capability. All consumable items that fit on other AccuteX EDMs are compatible with the EZ-53SA.

 

The company will also display the AccuteX SP-300iA, a five-axis wire EDM featuring “Microsparking Technology,” a rigid Meehanite cast honeycomb base and ball-retainer type guideways.
