Zeiss Industrial Metrology’s Contura CMM is available with four larger measuring ranges, ranging from 900 × 1,200 × 800 mm to 1,200 × 2,400 × 1,000 mm. The extra measuring volume in all axes provides greater measuring capability for large gears with sensor options such as the Vast XTR Gold . Navigator technology and the company’s Calypso software enables faster measurement, increasing throughput. The AirSaver option can also be used for cost savings, reducing compressed air consumption by as much as 60 percent, Zeiss says.
