YG-1’s Aerospace Tools Provide High Metal Removal Rates
Westec 2019: YG-1’s Aerospace tools include four-, five- and six-flute Titanox and V7plus A end mills for titanium.
YG-1 will feature cutting tools aimed at high metal removal rates in titanium, steel alloys, stainless steels (including 17-4PH, 15-5PH and 300/400), aluminum and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) in aerospace applications.
The Aerospace Solutions offering includes four-, five- and six-flute Titanox and V7plus A end mills for titanium. Other tools include the Alu-Power HPC surf three-flute mill; expansions to the Dream Drill Inox holemaking line; diamond-coated routers and drills for composites; Tank Power powdered metal mills with high edge strength and feed rates; MiniCut WaveCut super cobalt end mills; and the newly engineered CFRP mills.
