Mica Tool & Manufacturing of Wisconsin is the latest machining business to be acquired by the Generation Growth Capital Fund. I recently wrote about how this fund is investing in manufacturing by buying and improving machine shops. Mica Tool is apparently the latest shop to fit with this fund’s model. In this statement, fund managing director John Reinke said the fund has immediate plans to purchase new equipment and quality systems to prepare for Mica Tool’s future growth.
