The Parts Cleaning Exposition (PCx) will be held jointly with the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS) on April 25-27 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. Co-hosted by the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA), Production Machining, Products Finishing, and Modern Machine Shop magazines.
Coinciding with PMTS/PCx is a Parts Cleaning Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday. After a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., Tuesday’s sessions begin with Darren Williams of Sam Houston University (9 - 9:30 a.m.) discussing the “Top Five Chemistry Concepts for Cleaning,” followed by David Gotoff of Chemetall U.S. (9:30-10 a.m.) with his presentation on “Optimizing Aqueous Cleaning and Rust Prevention Washers.” Ben Lang of Acument Global Technologies will answer the question “Should Suppliers Use Your Technical Cleanliness Inspection Procedure?” from 10-10:30 a.m., while Joe McChesney of the Kyzen Corp. shares “How the ‘Right’ Chemistry Can Help you Improve Your Parts Cleaning” from 10:45-11:15 a.m. The morning sessions will then conclude with “Non-Ferrous Surface Finishing Made Easy” by Mike Valenti of Hubbard Hall Inc. After a break for lunch, presentations will recommence at 1 p.m.
