Trying to cut Magnesium sets it on fire ! what can I do?

 Hi all,

I am trying to cat magnesium on my on my charmilles RoboFil Wire EDM machine, but both are leading the Material to ignite itself.

Any suggestions on cutting magnesium? anyone already experienced it?
