Gardner Publications Inc. has partnered with the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) to co-locate the NTMA Purchasing Fair with amerimold 2012,
the event for tool and moldmaking, molding and additive technologies, that is scheduled to take place June 13–14 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, USA.
The co-location connecting these two events creates a one-stop shop for tool and mould manufacturing professionals looking for business, technology and sourcing solutions. The partnership expands both events to create an environment designed to deliver knowledge and opportunity on all sides of the manufacturing business.
“Co-locating Amerimold and the NTMA Purchasing Fair creates great opportunity for our combined audiences,” explains Amerimold managing director Allison Miller. “Both events are dedicated to promoting the growth of North American manufacturing through networking and applied innovation. As a result, both events attract leaders in supplying and applying advanced manufacturing technologies.”
The two-day Amerimold (also styled amerimold) trade show and technical conference, managed by Gardner Management Services, will offer NTMA Purchasing Fair participants access to an exhibit hall filled with product technology suppliers and process innovation experts. In turn, the NTMA Purchasing Fair will increase the participation of precision manufacturers and expand the networking component of amerimold.
Commenting on how the co-location expands the traditional Purchasing Fair format, NTMA COO Rob Akers observes that “the mission of the NTMA and the NTMA Purchasing Fair is to help manufacturers improve their business. A big part of their business is product and process technology. Through this co-location, we’re able to offer our members and attendees the opportunity to meet with technology vendors and technical experts to address operational and equipment challenges at a time when they’re already attending an event to meet with current and prospective customers.”
Registration for both events opens soon.
