CECIMO Appoints New Leadership
The organization has chosen a new general commissioner for EMO 2015, as well as a vice president and technical committee coordinator.
Pier Luigi Streparava has been appointed general commissioner of EMO Milano 2015, the machine tool exhibition scheduled for October 5-10 at the fieramilano exhibition center in Milan, Italy. Mr. Streparava, president of Streparava S.p.A. and board member of the European machine tool association UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre, was appointed in November during the general assembly meeting of CECIMO, the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries, in Vienna. He will supervise the organization of the 2015 trade show and work to promote it through a conference tour.
In other news, Luigi Galdabini, president of UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre, has joined the board of CECIMO as its vice president. Mr. Galdabini most recently served as coordinator of CECIMO’s technical committee, a position which will be taken over by Giancarlo Losma, president of Losma S.p.A. and Federmacchine.
EMO is alternatively held in Hannover, Germany, and Milan, Italy, every odd-numbered year. EMO Milano 2015 will be organized by the EFIM-ENTE Fiere Italiane Macchine and promoted by UCIMU-Sistemi per Produrre.
