Ceratizit (Mamer, Luxembourg) has acquired German solid carbide cutting tool manufacturer Klenk GmbH & Co. The purchase is part of Ceratizit’s acquisition strategy worldwide and reinforces the Ceratizit Group’s position as a cutting tool provider for the aerospace industry, Klenk’s primary market.
Klenk will now benefit from the global sales network of the acquirer as well as rods and blanks from Ceratizit’s Toolmaker Solutions brand. The company will retain its own brand under Ceratizit’s ownership.
