CNC Software Celebrates 30th Anniversary

CNC Software (Tolland, Connecticut) is celebrating its 30^th anniversary in 2013. The company was founded in 1983 by brothers Mark and Jack Summers, who shortly after created a PC-based CAD/CAM software package which would become Mastercam. The first version of the software was a two-dimensional CAM program. Today, Mastercam provides solutions for processes such as multiaxis milling, turning wire EDM and Swiss machining, among others.
