Delcam GmbH Opens Office in Southern Germany
The CAD/CAM software developer will offer training as well as service and support at its new location.

Delcam GmbH has opened a new office in Eislingen in Baden-Württemberg to promote its business in the southern part of Germany. According to the company, there is a developing demand for its CAD and CAM systems and inspection and reverse engineering software in the region. The offices were purchased in early November 2013 and will be staffed by seven team members. The location will feature classrooms and offer a full range of Delcam training courses.
In other news, Delcam PLC has donated more than 1,000 Delcam University courses to SkillsUSA, a national organization that hosts local, state and national student competitions in occupational and leadership skills. The Delcam University courses will be awarded to the top three participants in the automated manufacturing, CNC milling, CNC turning and precision CNC machining competitions at various state-level conferences and the National Leadership and Skills Conference taking place in June.
