On November 29, 2012, FANUC FA America celebrated its 35-year anniversary as a CNC sales, service and support organization in the Americas. Founded in Japan in 1956, FANUC is a developer of computer numerical controls for machine tool and nontraditional applications. FANUC USA, the company’s U.S. branch, opened its headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in 1977. Today, the branch is headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and the company supports its markets in the Americas with 43 offices and service centers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
