FIL Signs Deal with GKN Aerospace for Airshow Venue
The contract is intended to support the aerospace industry internationally and in the UK through improving the trade show's venue.
As part of its strategic vision to develop the venue for its Farnborough International Airshow, Farnborough International Ltd. (FIL) has signed a ten-year deal with GKN Aerospace to construct a permanent chalet structure on the site of the trade airshow, which occurs biennially at Farnborough Airport, Hampshire, United Kingdom. GKN first exhibited at the airshow in 2000, and, as CEO Marcus Bryson explains, the permanent structure will reflect the growth of the company's footprint at the show.
Farnborough International Ltd. has planned this development since 2009 with the intention to champion the UK aerospace industry and promote international trade. The GKN chalet is part of the Row-A chalet structure, which will also house other major exhibitors in dedicated chalet units. Other permanent facilities and infrastructure investments are also planned.
