First CAD/CAM Supplier Joins Partners in THINC

CNC Software/Mastercam is the first CAD/CAM developer to join Partners in THINC. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Partners in THINC is an effort by more than 30 companies to share expertise and test new ideas in order to offer integrated manufacturing solutions to customers. At the center of this effort is Okuma America Corporations’ open-architecture THINC control, which is said to allow users to easily communicate and process business-critical manufacturing information to and from machine tools in real time
