Heller Machine Tools (Troy, Michigan) will open its doors from 2 to 7 p.m. September 26 and 27 for “Technology Days.” The biennial open house event will showcase the company’s latest machining centers and systems for flexible, heavy-duty production as well as offerings from 25 suppliers of tooling, automation and other complementary technologies.
Demonstrations on the 100,000-square-foot assembly floor will include the company’s custom cylinder bore coating (CBC) process, which imparts a high-durability coating to aluminum parent metal; a new automotive flexible machining system; five-axis, high-torque HMCs for aerospace production; and the latest mid-range, high-performance machining centers.
