Hexagon Acquires Vero Software

Design, measurement and visualization technology provider Hexagon AB (Stockholm, Sweden) has acquired and fully consolidated U.K.-based CAM developer Vero Software as of August 2014. Vero, supplier of software products including Edgecam and WorkNC to more than 45 countries, will bring CAM software to Hexagon's recent metrology planning software offerings. Hexagon President and CEO Ola Rollén explained that the consolidation will support his company's goal of enabling the integration of data and processes across the manufacturing lifecycle.
