High-Performance HMC

FFG MAG’s Specht 800 and 800+ are high-performance horizontal machining centers featuring many of the same precision components used on existing Specht machines, including MAG motorized or gear box spindles, rotary B- and A-axis components, and high-speed tool changing systems.

FFG MAG’s Specht 800 and 800+ are high-performance horizontal machining centers featuring many of the same precision components used on existing Specht machines, including MAG motorized or gear box spindles, rotary B- and A-axis components, and high-speed tool changing systems. The machining centers are designed for rough or finish machining of large truck engine, agricultural and off-road vehicle, aerospace, or other general industry components.

Additionally, MAG Automotive, in collaboration with GAM/JAKOB and Darmstadt University, Germany, is finalizing the integration and validation of an advanced spindle safety system, the MS3, that is designed to detect spindle crashes in real time, uncoupling the spindle and drive systems to prevent machine damage and associated downtime.
