Hyundai-Wia Completes New Facility, Plans Open House
Hyundai-Wia Machine America Corporation (HWMA) recently opened its new corporate headquarters and technical center in the Borough of Carlstadt, Bergen County, New Jersey. A grand opening celebration will feature a preview of 13 recently developed machine tools that the company is introducing in the Americas.

A grand opening celebration will feature a preview of 13 recently developed machine tools that the company is introducing in the Americas. The event is planned for Monday, September 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The new facility features more than 21,500 square feet of modern office space along with a 66,500-square-foot showroom and warehouse. It is designed with energy-efficient features such as eco-friendly air circulation systems and motion-controlled natural lighting. It also houses automation offices to support the company’s turnkey solution sales approach. The manufacturing area, complete with machine docks and complete rigging capabilities, includes ergonomic and environmental efficiencies for operating the company’s line of machine tools.
