Hyundai Wia Opening West Coast Technology Center
The company will host a grand opening next week.
Hyundai WIA (Seoul, South Korea) will host a grand opening event at its West Coast Solution Center July 24-25. Located in Cypress, California, the new technology center features a 2,000-square-foot showroom with the capacity to hold as many as eight CNC machine tools for live demonstrations. The facility also features space for machine tool integration and customer education and training events.
Grand opening festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24. The company will host a lunch from noon to 2 p.m. and happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. on the 24th as well.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view various Hyundai Wia CNC machine tools on display, including the F500 Value Master vertical machining center, L150A turning center, KIT450 gang-type CNC lathe, L250SY multitasking turning center and L300MC turning center with live tooling.
