IMTS Attendees to Share Reshoring Experiences

Harry Moser of the Reshoring Intiative is encouraging IMTS exhibitors and attendees alike to document and share their experiences with bringing back manufacturing of specific parts or products that had been off-shored.  The stories will be highlighted as part of the “Manufacturing Technology Drives Reshoring” program, provided by AMT-The Association of Manufacturing Technology and the Reshoring Initiative at IMTS.  To register, interested parties can complete a simple fill-in-the-blanks form at reshorenow.org/resources/cases by August 15.

Harry Moser of the Reshoring Intiative is encouraging IMTS exhibitors and attendees alike to document and share their experiences with bringing back manufacturing of specific parts or products that had been off-shored.
 
The stories will be highlighted as part of the “Manufacturing Technology Drives Reshoring” program, provided by AMT-The Association of Manufacturing Technology and the Reshoring Initiative at IMTS.  To register, interested parties can complete a simple fill-in-the-blanks form at reshorenow.org/resources/cases by August 15. Those who share stories will have a chance to gain publicity on IMTS.com, IMTStv and reshorenow.org.
 
They also may be highlighted during Mr. Moser’s reshoring presentations, scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during the show on the IMTS main stage between the north and south halls of McCormick place. He will explain how reshoring is an efficient means of reducing imports, increasing exports and regaining manufacturing jobs in the United States. He will also discuss how reshoring helps manufacturers recover from offshoring’s poor quality, trade secret thefts, supply chain disruptions and lengthy delivery times.
