Knuth Opens Cutting Demonstration Showroom
Customers can request test cuts and time studies on the company’s laser, plasma and waterjet cutting machines.

Knuth Machine Tools has opened a new show and demonstration room at its Lincolnshire, Illinois, facility that will feature all three of its cutting technologies: laser, plasma and waterjet. The Laser-Jet 2512 2-kW fiber laser and Plasma-Jet 1530 with HPR 130XD plasma source are already available for cutting test parts. A Hydro-Jet Eco 1313 five-axis waterjet will be installed later this year.
Visiting customers can meet with an application engineer to determine cycle times and cutting results for a particular part on the different technologies. In addition, Knuth technicians can perform test cuts and time studies for a specified part and send the results to customers outside the Chicago area.
