Mahr Federal Expands Direct Sales Coverage in Southeastern U.S.
The move means the impending opening of a new regional demonstration center and the scaling back of a key distributor agreement.
Mahr Federal Inc. (Providence, Rhode Island) has announced plans to expand its direct-sales coverage for metrology systems products in the Southeastern United States. The company’s metrology systems products will be sold directly by the Mahr Federal sales team in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
“We presently are searching for additional sales people in the Southeast to augment our existing sales, product specialist and service team,” says Tony Picone, president and CEO. “We will be announcing the opening date and location of our new Southeast region demonstration center in the near future.”
He adds that as part of the company’s sales expansion plans, MSI-Viking Gage LLC—one of Mahr’s key distributors in the region—will no longer act as a representative for the company’s metrology systems, though it will continue as a distributor of precision gages and hand tools.
