Seco Tools hosted “Making Manufacturing a Priority” at its Troy, Michigan facility in January. The event was the inaugural manufacturing committee event for Automation Alley (Troy, Michigan) and was designed to promote and strengthen manufacturing in Southeast Michigan. Over 100 attendees were present, including representatives from manufacturing companies and industry experts from consulting firms and manufacturing associations such as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
The event was designed to provide a commercial-free forum for Michigan manufacturers and suppliers to meet and discuss relevant topics. Attendees were able to share best practices, collaborate on local and global competition, and explore local and global opportunities. The event featured industry and manufacturing expert presentations, group discussions, and attendee consultations.
