Mazak (Florence, Kentucky) says its new series of Webinars can help customers stay abreast of technology developments during the time between live “Discover More With Mazak” events at the machine tool builder’s eight regional facilities throughout North America. The “Discover Technology” webinars are free, interactive and approximately 60 minutes long.
The first webinar in the series, “Orbitec 20: Innovative Solutions for Valve Manufacturing” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28 at 2 p.m. Eastern time. According to the company, participants will learn how the Orbitec 20 machine can aid production of large valve bodies and other large, oddly shaped parts. Other scheduled webinars will cover five-axis postprocessors (May 23 at 2 p.m.), the use of multi-tasking machine turbine blade manufacturing (July 11 at 2 p.m.), special presentations from IMTS (September) and spiral bevel gear manufacturing (November 14 at 2 p.m.).
