MFG.com and the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate reshoring and job creation in the United States. To evangelize the benefits of reshoring, the organizations will use complimentary assets to share thought leadership, best practices and trend data as well as to host online and offline events where members can meet OEMs that want to reshore. “There is a tremendous momentum in the market right now,” says Roger Atkins, chairman of the board at NTMA. “It is incumbent upon all of us, especially the association representing job shops in America, to make sure the momentum continues, is sustainable, and that all of our members benefit from this rising tide.”
