Mark Mohr has been appointed president of DMG/Mori Seiki USA. In his new role at the company’s Hoffman Estates, Illinois headquarters, Mr. Mohr will oversee the operations of all technical centers across the country to optimize the value of the DMG and Mori Seiki collaboration in America.
Mr. Mohr will also continue to focus on the importance of total customer care and the advantages of DMG/Mori Seiki 360 support. He will work in tandem with Randall Harland, newly appointed executive vice president, National Sales, in leading the company’s domestic sales. Both Mr. Mohr and Mr. Randall will report to Natsuo (Jim) Okada, president of Mori Seiki Americas.
Previously, Mr. Mohr served as the company’s executive vice president, service and parts. Prior to the April 2010 collaboration between Gildemeister and Mori Seiki, he had held positions as vice president, engineering at Mori Seiki USA and president of that company’s former Mid-American sales group. He joined Mori in 2002 as sales manager in the Chicago technical center after 16 years of prior experience in the machine tool business.
