The event will feature more than 15 CNC machines, including the MCR-BIII double-column machining center, the MU-10000H five-axis HMC and other new models shown at IMTS. A variety of other equipment will also be tooled up and running, including small and large horizontal lathes, five-axis machines, multi-function machines and VMCs and HMCs. Featured applications and peripherals will include Turn-Cut, Machining Navi, a flexible manufacturing system and more.

Partners in THINC members representing tooling, gaging, software and other accessories and equipment will challenge attendees with a session titled “Bring Your Problems, We’ll Supply Solutions,” in which experts will collaborate to answer questions and help solve manufacturing challenges. Other educational seminars will address topics such as machining super alloy material and using technology to assist in the bridging the skills gap many are experiencing. On day three of the event, Steve Kline, Director of Market Intelligence for Modern Machine Shop publisher Gardner Business Media, will present on the state of manufacturing and take a look at the outlook and industry trends for 2013.
