DMG America will conduct a 4-day open house from April 21 to 24 at its Chicago Technology Center in Itasca, Illinois, located just west of the city near O’Hare airport. The center is the company’s North American headquarters and houses an 11,500-square-foot showroom as well as 130 sales, customer service, application engineering, technical support and corporate management personnel.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, visitors can view 17 different machines making chips. These include the Ecoline range of milling and turning centers; a universal mill/turn center for simultaneous, five-axis cutting; and large, powerful machines for the energy, automotive, aerospace and other industries, the company says. Additionally, instructors from the DMG America Training Academy will conduct technical workshops for users involved in the mold/die, aerospace, wind energy, medical, high speed cutting and other markets.
