OSG USA Acquires Amamco
The acquiring company says that Amamco’s offerings will enable it to expand in the aerospace market.
OSG USA Inc. (Glendale Heights, Illinois) has acquired Amamco (Duncan, South Carolina), a maker of custom carbide tools for manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries. It will continue as an independent company led by a newly appointed president, Jon Salem, who was formerly vice president.
“With their success supplying customer-specified, carbide tooling to major aerospace companies, our acquisition of Amamco helps OSG meet our global initiative to grow our business in the aerospace industry,” says Michael Grantham, president of OSG and new CEO of Amamco.
