Sandvik Coromant says it will offer a holistic and consultative approcach to the machining process at the inaugural imX (interactive manufactring experience) show. Scheduled for September 12-14 in Las Vegas, imX aims to depart from the traditional trade show model and provide an interactive, educational experience.
Topics for the company's Learning Lab sessions include solutions for both management and operations. The sessions will focuso n machine investment and planning; process and production planning; profitable production strategies; and tooling trends and technology.
At the Experience Zone, designed to be the core of interaction, guests will be given the opportunity to learn from and interact with yellow-coat specialists on the resources, knowledge and service available from the company. The booth will feature touchscreens and networking areas where guests can speak with Sandvik representatives, see video demonstrations and more.
