Siemens Acquires Preactor

Siemens has acquired Preactor Group (Chippenham, United Kingdom), a supplier of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software. The acquisition will add new components to Siemens’ manufacturing operations management (MOM) offerings. When the deal is complete, Preactor will become part of the Siemens Industry Automation Division.
