Starrett Donates Measuring Tools to Workshop for Warriors

The L.S. Starrett Co. (Athol, Massachusetts) has donated $100,000 worth of precision measuring tools to support San Diego, California-based Workshops for Warriors (WFW), a nonprofit organization that trains and places U.S. veterans into manufacturing careers. Company President and CEO Doug Starrett said that, "with over 600,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs that remain unfilled, there is no better time than now to take advantage of the talents of thousands of returning veterans."
