TRAM 2014 to Feature Boeing Keynote Speakers

Co-located with IMTS, the event is expected to reprise its previous success.

Following a successful debut at IMTS 2012 with more than 300 conference participants, Trends in Advanced Machining, Manufacturing and Materials (TRAM) will again take place at IMTS in Chicago, September 10 to 11, 2014.

Presented by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, the Association For Manufacturing Technology, Modern Machine Shop and sister publication High-Performance Composites, the conference program will focus on upcoming trends and advancements in manufacturing technology within the aerospace industry. 

Event sponsor The Boeing Co. has announced that Greg Hyslop will be the keynote speaker on the first morning of the conference. Mr. Hyslop is the vice president and general manager of Boeing Research and Technology, the central R&D unit of the company. TRAM will also feature Ricardo Traven, Boeing’s chief test pilot for the F/A-18, and Peter Hoffman, vice president of international property management.

TRAM conference attendees will also have free access to the IMTS exhibit hall and are invited to participate in a networking reception the evening of September 10.
