Vero Acquires Surfcam

Operations will be run by a new subsidiary.

Vero Software (Wixom, Michigan) has acquired Surfcam assets from Surfware Inc. (Camarillo, California). The Surfcam CAD/CAM system is designed for 2D and 3D modeling and features easy-to-use CNC programming for two-, three-, four- and five-axis machining.

Vero Software (Wixom, Michigan) has acquired Surfcam assets from Surfware Inc. (Camarillo, California), developer of TrueMill technology. The Surfcam CAD/CAM system is designed for 2D and 3D modeling and features easy-to-use CNC programming for two-, three-, four- and five-axis machining.

 

Under the acquisition agreement, Surfcam operations will be run by Vero’s Surfcam Inc. subsidiary and existing partners and resellers will become part of the Vero network. Surfware Inc. will be renamed TrueMill Inc. and will continue to develop and license its TrueMill technology for the CAD/CAM industries.
